SPECIAL FEATURES

Guide to U.S. Foundations, Their Trustees, Officers, & Donors is the most comprehensive list of foundations published by the Foundation Center. Volumes One and Two assist grantseekers in targeting local funding prospects, identifying newly established foundations, and locating the many large and small foun- dations in a particular geographic area. Volume Three provides a comprehensive name index of trustees, officers, and donors, enabling grantseekers to determine if an individual has affiliations with one or more foundations. Within each entry in Volumes One andTwo, and in the index and foundation lo – cator in Volume Three, codes identify other Center publications in which an entry appears.

The Foundation 1000 contains sponsoring company information where appropriate, a description of current programs, and a grants analysis section. Also, in most cases, it provides more in-depth information on establishment data and application information than the Center’s other directories.

Each volume of the Grant Guides provides a list of grants of $10,000 or more in a specific subject area for each foundation listed; each volume also contains a recipient name index, subject index, geographic index, and an alphabetical list of all foundations included in the volume with their complete addresses and limitations statements.

National Directory of Corporate Giving provides detailed information on the sponsoring company, including a financial profile, as well as extensive information on direct corporate giving programs.
